Rose C. Pellizzari, 85, of Loveland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at McKee Medical Center surrounded by her family. Rose was born June 12, 1927 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts to James and Isabelle Sciola. She married Palmi Pellizzari on May 25, 1945 during WWII. In 1953 Palmi & Rose relocated to Sunnyvale, California with their four children. Rose worked at Ampex Corporation for 15 years as an electronic assembler and retired in 1971. She and Palmi moved to their mountain home in Twain Harte, California in 1980. They lived there for 20 years while spending their winters in Lake Havasu, Arizona. She was involved with Interfaith through the Catholic Church in Twain Harte. They relocated to Loveland in 2000 to be closer to family. Rose loved to cook and bake and her family enjoyed traditional Sunday dinners around her table. She also liked to crochet, garden and camp and loved her periodic trips to BlackHawk. She was a former volunteer at the House of Neighborly Service. Rose enjoyed a wonderful life and took great joy in spending time with her family and friends. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Benedetto, Michael, Anthony and James, sisters Nicolina, Theresa, Carmela and Catherine and her daughter-in-law, Pepper Pellizzari. She will be missed by her husband, Palmi of nearly 68 years, her children, Peter (Mary Jacobs) Pellizzari of Peoria, AZ, and Pamela, Paul and Peggy (Ed Michael) Pellizzari all of Loveland. She is also survived by her sister, Angelina (Louis) Lausier of Pittsfield, MA and her sister-in-law, Anne Pellizzari of Clifton, CO, grandchildren Russ (Vina) Ford of Rocklin, CA, Ron (Kellie) Pellizzari of Las Vegas, NV, Adrienne Pellizzari of Quepos, Costa Rica, Peter James (Tiffany) Pellizzari of Union City, CA, Erin (Jason) Dill of Loveland, Paul (Jen) Pellizzari of Manteca, CA and Ryan (Erin) Pellizzari of Discovery Bay, CA, great-grandchildren Brandon and Adam Dill and Thomas, Jamison, Jackson, Josiah and Silas Pellizzari and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home at 10am on Tuesday, February 19th, 2013 followed by interment at the Loveland Burial Park.
