Robert (Bob) Lee Brooks, 74, of Loveland passed way on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Pathways Hospice Care Center in Loveland, CO.
He was born April 26, 1938 in Missoula, MT to Bernard and Marie (Eng) Brooks. After graduating from high school in Bozeman, MT he served 4 years in the Navy. He married Maroldean (Dean) Brooks on August 7, 1965. Bob graduated from Montana State University in 1966. They moved to Loveland in 1966 where he worked at Hewlett Packard for 34 years as a mechanical engineer. Bob had a passion for trains and adored his family, especially his granddaughters.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Dean, his children, Bary Brooks (Kerry) of Loveland, CO, Andrea Hawley (Mike) of Littleton, CO and grandchildren Katey and Maggie Hawley and Scout Brooks. He is also survived by his brother, Bruce Brooks (Rosie) of Rochester, MI.
A memorial service will be held at Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home at 2pm on Friday, February 22, 2013.
